PRS SE NF 53 Electric Guitar Maple Fingerboard White Doghair

Refreshed for 2026, the PRS SE NF 53 mixes timeless tone with vintage spirit, bringing out the best tonal qualities of traditional T-style single-cutaway guitars while bringing a modern twist to the equation.

Constructed from a single-cutaway swamp ash body, the NF 53 is lightweight, resonant, and balanced. Swamp ash is highly sought after for its strong low-end, bright highs, and slightly scooped midrange. The body is finished in a White Doghair finish that is accented against the multi-ply binding, exposed silver magnets on the pickups, and the brass saddles on the bridge.

Bolted to the body by 4-bolts the maple neck features a 25.5-inch scale length, 10-inch radius, and NF 53 neck profile which feels similar to a rounded C shape. The neck is crowned with 22, PRS SE Standard frets and the signature PRS Birds inlay for fret markers. High quality hardware like the PRS Plate-Style bridge and PRS Designed Tuners with Wing Buttons ensure solid intonation and tuning performance.

For its voice, 2 PRS Narrowfield DD “S” noiseless humbuckers are employed to deliver vintage-inspired tones without the unwanted hum of a traditional single-coil. Built using taller bobbins, these pickups fit more winds and extra metal pieces in between magnets for a more focused, powerful tone – they also handle gain extremely well while still delivering the classic twang of a T-style guitar. Tone can further be adjusted using the 3-way switch, volume, and tone controls.
