These pickups incorporate Alnico 3 magnets, bestowing a warm and vintage tonal character reminiscent of the original P.A.F. pickups. Adhering closely to historical authenticity, they feature unbalanced coils meticulously wound with 42 AWG wire, preserving the essence of classic P.A.F. construction. In a nod to tradition, they remain unpotted, echoing the craftsmanship of the original P.A.F.s.

TheCustombucker Underwound iteration introduces a distinctive twist. It featuresfewer windings on the bobbins, resulting in heightened clarity of overtones and harmonics.
