The Hot Rod Deluxe is constructed from a lightweight pine cabinet and is wrapped in a black western tooled vinly covering. The vintage leather handle and ’50s tweed grille cloth pair well with the new look. Inside the cabinet, the signal flow begins with modified preamp circuitry which offers great tonal definition and clarity, even when pushed. Powered by three 12AX7s in the preamp section and two 6L6s in the power amp, the amplifier delivers 40-watts of high headroom, clean sound. Filtering that sound is a single 12-inch Celestion G12M-65 Creamback speaker which delivers a vintage-voiced sound that is tight and clear.
